Individual Mental Coachings for Climbers

Climbing Psychology is globally recognised as a pioneer of psychology in all major disciplines of rock climbing. We believe that a climber’s mental strength is as important as their physical strength, and have spent years tailoring unique programs and training methods for climbers.

Our goal is to support climbers in the best possible way – from dealing with fear of failure, fear of falling, the psychological impact of injuries, personality development, building self-esteem and developing confidence. We prefer a creative, modern approach to sport psychology and aim to practically apply learnt strategies directly on the climbing wall.

Do you feel like you hit a plateau? Do feel like your limiting beliefs and lack of confidence sometimes hold you back? Do you constantly compare yourself and find it hard to trust yourself? Do you struggle with fear of failing, fear of falling and overthinking? Are you close to sending your project but the closer you get, the more nervous you feel? Do you give up quickly and want to improve your perseverance? Or do you have difficulties motivating yourself?

We are often confronted with situations which we might not be able to solve on our own. In our individual coaching sessions, we elaborate strategies and solutions for existing problems together. The aim is to tap your full potential and help you to perform at your best while fully enjoying it.

Just imagine how climbing (and life) would be like if you fully trusted and believed in yourself?

How would you feel if you were mentally strong and resilient and your fears weren’t holding you back?

What to Expect When You Start Working on Your Mindset

  • You will feel more confident in yourself and your abilities – which will not only have an effect on your climbing but also your life in general.

  • You develop strategies to better cope with your fears, failure, insecurities, doubts, and so on…

  • Your enjoyment for climbing and motivation will increase.

  • Dealing with difficult emotions such as fear, disappointment, anger, and so on will become easier and better manageable.

  • You will be more present and reach a flow state more easily.

  • The mental strategies and tools you will learn in our coachings will help you to better deal with mentally challenging situations.

  • You will learn to better listen to yourself, your needs and your “gut feeling”.
